Unconventional Aircraft and the History of the UFO Program
This web site is a work in progress and is updated periodically.
I can assure the reader that this information is fully verifiable and should demonstrate that the subject of "Flying Discs" was taken very seriously by certain agencies. These would include such groups as the War Department General Staff (WDGS) the Air Defense Command (ADC), the US Army General Staff Corps, Intelligence Division (USAGSC/ID), the Armed Forces Security Agency (AFSA), the Central Intelligence Group (CIG)/Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and the Army Air Force (AAF)/Air Force and Navy.
Further, historical research has uncovered information which seems to verify that some type of Flying Disc incident occurred on March 25th, 1948, which was important enough to warrant General Spaatz to order a 24 hour a day air alert. The air alert began on that Thursday morning, as per the inter-staff memo between General Anderson and General Timberlake, which is dated 25 March 1948.
The documentation presented here can be seen and or obtained from the CIA's on-line library, the former Blue Book Archive site, the Fold3 site, the National Archives site, the National Reconnaissance Office on-line library, the Cincinnati Enquirer Archives, It also includes information found in one the books or the periodicals from my own personal library.
